Ali Yuill - general manager
Ali's been involved in and around hospitality since the age of 16. After studying at Bristol Uni, she went on to do a few ski seasons running a private chalet, and managing a restaurant during the summers. Ali has a strong background in wine having worked for Majestic for a number of years, where she gained her WSET Diploma. After this she joined Josh’s crew at Salt & Malt and the rest, as they say, is history.
Josh Eggleton - director
Chef-Patron of The Pony & Trap, founder of fish and chip place Salt & Malt and a key member of the Eat Drink Bristol Fashion movement, Josh won a Michelin Star in 2011, making him one of the youngest chefs in the UK to claim this prestigious accolade. Known for his contemporary British cuisine, Josh has built a reputation for his ethos of sustainability and seasonality.
Luke Hawkins - head chef
Our head chef Luke first got behind the pass when he joined The Pony & Trap in 2010, where he trained with Josh. He then moved to Hanham before returning to Bristol where he joined Source Cafe. Luke rejoined The Pony & Trap in 2015 as senior sous chef. With all that experience under his belt, Luke is now the head chef here at The Kenny... and we couldn’t be happier.
Guy Newell - director
Former managing director of the Butcombe Brewery, Guy has run hotels in Iran, started the UK’s first drinks wholesaler and was the first person in the UK to offer an extensive selection of guest ales at his first ever pub in Dorset, so it’s safe to say he knows a thing or two about great beer and great hospitality.
